£155.9 - £223.2 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Justteachers Recruitment Agency is seeking a skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join one of our partner SEN schools in Rugby. This full-time position, starting in January 2025, will involve teaching a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class and carrying out full classroom responsibilities, including planning and marking.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for KS2 students with special educational needs.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and personal development.
Monitor, assess, and record students’ progress, providing regular feedback to parents and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support students’ learning and well-being.
Maintain effective behavior management strategies to support students with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching students with special educational needs, particularly in a KS2 setting, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
