£155.9 - £223.2 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Justteachers Recruitment Agency is seeking a skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join one of our partner SEN schools in Rugby. This full-time position, starting in January 2025, will involve teaching a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class and carrying out full classroom responsibilities, including planning and marking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for KS2 students with special educational needs.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and personal development.
  • Monitor, assess, and record students’ progress, providing regular feedback to parents and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support students’ learning and well-being.
  • Maintain effective behavior management strategies to support students with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching students with special educational needs, particularly in a KS2 setting, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
