About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils, including those with additional needs, ensuring they thrive academically and socially.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
  • Support group activities and one-to-one sessions as required.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Help with classroom preparation and resource management.

This is a full-time position, ideal for those looking to work in a supportive and rewarding primary school setting.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working with primary school-aged children (desirable).
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
