Teaching Assistant Lincoln

Justteachers are working with a primary school in Lincoln to appoint a TA to join their team from January 2025.

The school is a larger than average, innovative primary school with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The senior leadership team are supportive and believe that children learn best when they are happy, confident and well-motivated.

Candidates must:

• • Teaching Assistant qualification or subject specific Degree desired but not essential
  • Previous referenceable experience of support pupils within education or transferable Special Educational needs experience such as a Support Worker, Sports Coach etc
  • Resilience, ability to see through and overcome challenging behaviours to ensure each pupil achieves to their best ability
  • A sense of humour and ability to form relationships quickly

Job Role:

• Promoting students learning and engagement
• Supporting students with their emotional and behavioural needs and provide appropriate coping techniques to challenge adverse behaviours
• Support small group learning alongside the class Teacher as well as delivery of some lessons
• Provided a safe and secure safe learning environment
