Award-Winning ‘Great Place to Work™’
What makes justteachers a Great Place to Work?
We make it a priority to advocate a healthy work/life balance. We have been awarded the ‘Excellence in Wellbeing’ accolade through Great Place to Work™, which reflects the initiatives we have in place to ensure that our staff maintain this healthy balance. This includes reduced working hours during the school holidays (12 weeks a year), extended wellbeing lunches weekly, 30 days plus bank holidays annual leave and the day off to celebrate their birthday.
We are proud to participate in the universally renowned Great Place to Work™ Initiative and as a result we have annually received awards for; Best UK Workplace, Best UK Workplace for Women and Excellence in Wellbeing.
Our employee suggestions through the annual Great Place to Work™ surveys contribute significantly to our ever evolving wellbeing programme. We listen to our staff.
Some of the main benefits for our staff, their mental health and their general wellbeing include; access to an Employee Assist Programme (for physical, mental and financial support and advice), access to our internal Mental Health Champion, regular one to ones with their team leaders and branch managers.
justteachers care about our staff, their Wellbeing and their Mental Health
As mentioned, we have an in-house Mental Health Champion trained by St John Ambulance, who meets regularly with all staff on a one-to-one basis, to ensure they know what support is available to them and provide a safe space should they wish to have a confidential chat.
Our Senior Management team fully support our Mental Health policies and have also received Mental Health training from our Support Champion.
As a company, we follow the Mental Health at Work Commitment as curated by charity Mind.
